Description
Reports the current X screen-saver state and related idle information for scripts. It helps lightweight desktop setups decide whether the screen is blanked, locked, or idle enough to trigger another action.
It is a read-only helper and does not lock the screen by itself. Automation based on presence or idle time should be designed with privacy and false positives in mind.
