Description

Publishes desktop settings to X11 applications through the XSETTINGS specification. It is useful in lightweight window-manager sessions that need GTK or other toolkit applications to receive theme, font, cursor, or related settings without a full desktop environment.

It needs configuration that matches the desired desktop appearance. Installing it alone will not automatically make every application look consistent, and Wayland or modern desktop sessions may use different settings paths.

How to run

xsettingsd

Commands: xsettingsd
