Description
Sets the X11 root-window background to a simple color, pattern, or cursor style. It is useful in minimal window-manager sessions where no desktop shell manages the wallpaper or root window.
It is intentionally basic and does not manage image wallpapers, slideshow features, or per-monitor desktop backgrounds like modern wallpaper tools.
