Description

Closes a selected X11 client by asking the X server to terminate the connection for that window. It is useful when a graphical application is frozen and normal close buttons or menus no longer respond.

Use it carefully because unsaved work in the selected application can be lost. It targets X clients, not arbitrary system processes, and it should not be treated as a replacement for understanding repeated crashes.

How to run

xkill

Commands: xkill
