Description
Alerts an X11 desktop when a traditional mailbox file receives new mail. It is useful for classic Unix mail setups, lightweight sessions, or demonstrations of old X desktop utilities.
It is not a modern email client and does not handle webmail accounts by itself. It only watches mailbox delivery state, so most users with IMAP, Exchange, or browser-based mail will need different software.
