Maps assorted legacy X11 font names to matching miscellaneous font resources. This helps older X applications continue to display text when they ask for fonts using historical X.Org naming conventions.
It is compatibility data rather than a user-facing program. Install or keep it when a legacy X application, remote session, or minimal desktop setup needs those font aliases.
