Description
Maps traditional X11 font names to the 100 dpi font family through alias files. This helps older applications find compatible fonts even when they ask for legacy XLFD names instead of modern fontconfig names.
It is font metadata, not a visible app. Users usually need it only when maintaining compatibility with old X applications, remote displays, or scripts that still rely on X.Org bitmap font aliases.
