Plays and manages a music collection through a client-and-server audio system. The background service handles playback and the command-line client controls the library, playlists, and current track, which is useful for users who prefer scriptable music control.
It is not a modern all-in-one graphical music app by itself. Choose it when you want a lightweight, extensible audio system or need compatibility with XMMS2 clients and workflows.
