Multitouch input can be handled by an X driver that uses the kernel multitouch protocol. This Git build is useful for testing newer trackpad behavior or hardware support.
Input drivers affect clicking, scrolling, tapping, and pointer movement for the whole X session. Git builds may change behavior, so keep a recovery path for broken input configuration.
