Description
Multitouch trackpads and clickpads can use an Xorg input driver with gesture and pointer handling tuned for those devices. This is useful on laptops where the default input driver does not provide the desired behavior.
Input drivers affect clicking, scrolling, tapping, and pointer movement for the whole X session. Keep a recovery path in case configuration makes the pointing device hard to use.
