Description
Makes a Linux machine discoverable to Windows network browsing through Web Services Dynamic Discovery. It is useful on mixed Linux and Windows networks where file sharing or device visibility should appear in Windows Explorer.
This is a network daemon. It announces the host on the local network, so administrators should review firewall rules, interface bindings, and whether the machine should be discoverable on each network.
