Description
A system tray can be provided as a small dock applet for lightweight window manager sessions. It is useful when applications need tray icons but the desktop setup does not include a standard tray area.
This is a tray container, not the applications shown inside it. Notification and icon behavior depends on the apps and the session protocol they use.
