Description
Manages older Linux wireless settings through the Wireless Extensions interface. It is useful for legacy scripts, older drivers, diagnostics, or systems that still rely on tools such as iwconfig and iwlist.
This is a set of terminal networking utilities. On modern systems, newer tools may be preferred, and changing wireless settings can interrupt connectivity until the interface is reconfigured correctly.
