Description

Linux applications can communicate with iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices over USB through a multiplexing daemon. This is useful for pairing, file access, backups, debugging, and tools built on libimobiledevice.

The daemon runs in the background and brokers access to connected mobile devices. Device trust prompts, personal data, and USB access should be handled carefully.

How to run

usbmuxd.service
