VTE-like scroll-wheel behavior can be added to rxvt-unicode. urxvt-vtwheel-vte is for users who want terminal scrolling closer to VTE terminals.
Input extensions can affect scrollback, alternate-screen applications, and mouse reporting. Test curses apps, pagers, editors, and remote terminals after enabling it.
