Internet pages can be checked for changes using regular expressions from a Java command-line wrapper. urlregwatch is for users monitoring specific page fragments instead of whole pages.
Keep credentials and watched URLs out of shared configs. Page monitors can scrape sites too frequently, store private URLs, miss changes when regexes are wrong, or trigger remote rate limits.
