PKGBUILD source arrays can be regenerated from Git submodule information with a shell helper. updpkgsrcs is for Arch packagers maintaining packages whose sources mirror nested Git repositories.
Review generated arrays before committing them. Submodule URLs, commit pins, checksums, and recursive sources can change package provenance or pull code from locations that were not intended.
