Description

GRUB boot menu configuration can be regenerated with the familiar update-grub command. This is useful for users following Debian or Ubuntu-style instructions on systems where the real work is done by grub-mkconfig.

The command changes bootloader configuration. Check the generated file and keep recovery media available, because incorrect boot settings can stop the system from starting normally.
