Segmented MKV files with ordered chapters can be merged back into a single video file from a Perl workflow. unlinkmkv is useful for media archivists repairing or simplifying Matroska collections.
Work on copies and verify chapter timing before replacing originals. Remuxing can lose metadata, subtitles, attachments, or chapter structure, and media files may be copyrighted.
