Force-feedback game controllers can use a development DKMS driver for hid-pidff and hid-universal-pidff support. It is for users testing broader PID force-feedback hardware compatibility.
Install only when kernel-module risks are acceptable. DKMS drivers can fail on kernel updates, change input behavior, affect steering wheels or controllers, and require recovery from a console.
