Logs packets selected by netfilter rules so administrators can inspect firewall and network activity in user space. It is useful for auditing, troubleshooting, and collecting structured firewall logs.
This is a background logging daemon. Packet logs can contain sensitive network metadata, so restrict log access and retention according to local policy.
