Description
Files or disk images can be distributed to multiple machines with UDP multicast. Udpcast is useful for lab imaging, classroom deployments, and bulk transfers on controlled LANs.
Run it only on networks where multicast traffic is expected. Large multicast transfers can saturate links, expose data to local listeners, or affect other users on the same segment.
