Description

NTFS filesystems can be defragmented from a Linux console with an UltraDefrag-derived tool. It is for maintenance of NTFS volumes when Windows tooling is unavailable.

Run it only after backing up important data and unmounting or preparing the filesystem correctly. Defragmentation writes extensively and can worsen damage on failing disks.
