Typing speed can be practiced with the prebuilt release of a minimal terminal tester. It is intended for quick local drills and keyboard-speed measurement without compiling the tool.
Run it from a shell for short practice rounds. Terminal focus, keyboard layout, and chosen text all affect the measured speed and accuracy.
