Bridges power-profile requests from applications toward TuneD so systems can move away from power-profiles-daemon without losing a familiar control path. It is useful for desktops that want TuneD policies behind existing power profile integrations.
This is a background compatibility daemon. Administrators should avoid running conflicting power-management services with overlapping control of performance and battery profiles.
