Desktop icon-font workflows can use Material Design Icons Desktop Font from the Material Design Icons project. It is useful for panels, launchers, widgets, mockups, and custom UI that references symbols through a font.
Reference the installed font from the theme, CSS, or application that supports icon fonts. The package installs font files only and does not change desktop icons by itself.
