Description
Kernel ftrace events can be captured, recorded, reported, and inspected from user space with the trace-cmd toolkit. It is for kernel developers, performance engineers, and administrators diagnosing scheduler, interrupt, latency, or driver behavior. Captures can expose process names, timing, and system internals, and many operations require elevated privileges.
