Self-hosted GPS fleet tracking can be run with the Traccar server package. Devices report location data to the service, and users view positions, history, and alerts through the Traccar web interface. Because it stores live and historical location records, deployment requires deliberate network exposure, account security, retention policy, and consent handling.
