Description

Old temporary files can be removed automatically after they have not been accessed for a chosen period. This is useful for administrators who need to keep cache, scratch, or temporary directories from growing forever.

The tool deletes files according to age rules, so configuration mistakes can remove data that still matters. Users should test rules on noncritical paths before scheduling automated cleanup.
