Creates a Timeshift snapshot automatically before package upgrades triggered through a Pacman hook. It helps Manjaro users keep a restore point before large system changes happen.
Automatic snapshots can consume disk space and are not a replacement for tested backups. Confirm Timeshift is configured correctly before relying on upgrade snapshots.
