Description
Time-series tables can be added to PostgreSQL through the current TimescaleDB extension build. Database administrators and developers install it to test hypertables, fast ingest, and time-series queries before or outside release packages. Database contents, extension upgrades, PostgreSQL compatibility, backups, query behavior, and git-build regressions require careful planning.
