Description

Log lines can be filtered by date ranges or tailed relative to a recent time window from the command line. Administrators install it when ordinary grep is awkward for timestamped logs. Log files may contain credentials, IP addresses, personal data, and incident details, so terminal output and shell history should be handled carefully.
