Description
OpenStreetMap extracts can be converted directly into vector tiles with a command-line generator. Map developers install it when they need MBTiles-style output without running a full import database stack. Large PBF files, Lua processing scripts, local disk use, attribution rules, and generated map data should be managed deliberately.
