AWS-backed image storage and loading can be added to Thumbor deployments. Web teams use it when thumbnails need to read from or write to S3-style cloud services through the Thumbor image pipeline. Cloud credentials, bucket names, object permissions, transfer costs, and private media exposure are the main risks.
