Description

Linux hosts get protection from severe swap stalls through a user-space memory pressure helper. Administrators use it to watch pressure conditions and intervene before swapping makes a machine unusable. Process selection, kill or pause policy, memory thresholds, and systemd service settings can disrupt workloads if configured poorly.
