Titlebar placement can be changed in a Sway build patched with a bottom-titlebar configuration option. This Git package replaces and provides sway, installs a systemd user snippet, and builds the patched compositor from current source. It is for advanced Sway users; replacing the compositor affects input, screen sharing, locking, and session recovery.
