Persistent workspaces can be kept in a Sway fork built from the persistent-workspaces branch. This Git package replaces and provides sway, installs the compositor, default configuration, and systemd user snippet. It is for advanced Sway users; replacing the compositor affects input, display output, locking, and recovery from session failures.
