Description

Older or specialized Linux programs can draw graphics through a low-level SuperVGA library without a modern desktop graphics stack. This is mainly useful for legacy software, embedded environments, or programs that still depend on svgalib APIs.

Most users receive it as a dependency rather than using it directly. Low-level graphics access can be fragile on modern systems and may require permissions or console-specific setup.
