Livestreams from many websites can be handed off to a chosen local video player from the command line. This Git package builds and installs Streamlink from the current source tree, with optional ffmpeg support for separated audio and video streams. It is useful for users who prefer external players; streaming service terms, account cookies, URLs, and viewed content can have privacy or policy implications.
