Login attack detection can block abusive hosts by feeding logs into firewall backends. The Git package installs sshguard, `/etc/sshguard.conf`, tmpfiles setup, and `sshguard.service`. It can add firewall blocks for SSH and other services, so log sources, allowlists, and backend choice need careful review.
