Command-driven Spotify playback can use a GStreamer backend that fits PipeWire-native audio setups. The package installs the `spotify_player` terminal application built with the gstreamer backend instead of PulseAudio-focused output. It uses Spotify online services and local audio devices, so account tokens and playback privacy apply.
