Bluetooth identities can be spoofed or cloned by changing device name, class, and address fields from a terminal. Security testers run `spooftooph` for Bluetooth assessment and demonstration work. Cloning device identifiers can disrupt pairing, impersonate equipment, or violate policy, so it is for authorized testing only.
