Description
SYSLINUX boot screens can be generated from images and console font resources with a command-line helper. Administrators run `splashtool` to prepare splash files for bootloader setups instead of assembling the pieces manually. Boot graphics are low level, and wrong paths or formats can break expected boot menu appearance.
