Quake III-style games can run on an improved ioquake3-derived engine with client and dedicated-server launchers. Players open `spearmint.desktop` or run `spearmint` after providing original pak files; server operators can enable `spearmint.service`. Shooter content, public servers, and game file ownership should be considered.
