Description
MIDI files can be played with a lean GM/GS soundbank that supplies clean instrument sounds without a very large sample library. This is useful for lightweight systems, notation playback, games, and simple music production.
The package is sound data, not a separate player. It becomes useful when selected in a software synthesizer or used by another application that can load soundfonts.
