Description
Graphical and desktop applications can talk to the snapd daemon through GLib and Qt-friendly APIs. This lets software stores and management tools list, install, update, or inspect snaps without each project implementing the low-level daemon protocol.
Most users install this indirectly as a dependency. It does not provide a standalone package manager interface by itself; snap management still depends on snapd and an application that uses this library.
