Description
Receives AirPlay-style audio streams so compatible Apple devices and iTunes can send music to the Linux machine as if it were an AirPort Express. It is useful for turning a computer or small server into a network audio receiver.
It runs as a network audio service and may be visible to devices on the local network. Configure access, firewall rules, device name, and audio output carefully so private networks and speakers behave as expected.
