Description
Supplies firmware files needed by some gt68xx-based scanners. It is useful when supported scanner hardware requires firmware upload before it can work with SANE or scanning applications.
Firmware enables hardware behavior but does not add a separate app. Use the correct firmware for the device and keep scanner permissions limited to trusted users.
