Profiles applications from the command line on Linux and macOS using sampling. It is useful for performance investigations, identifying hot code paths, and producing profiles that can be inspected later.
Profiles can expose process names, paths, symbols, and workload details. Collect only authorized processes and keep reports private when they contain proprietary information.
