Description
Sends log messages from Ruby code to the POSIX syslog facility. It is useful for daemons, services, administration scripts, and applications that need centralized system logging.
Syslog may be collected, forwarded, and retained for a long time. Avoid logging secrets, personal data, or full request bodies.
